I was still able to get that full movie picture image playing out in my head while reading. Brittney kept it so interesting and engaging that I didn’t want to put it down. But, I think this is my genre to do so, or at least my author. This book was in third person, which was a slight adjustment for me since I typically never read third person. Give me anything clandestine, SpecOps, mercenaries, you name it. So naturally one of my favorite tropes is military romance. My dream job was to work for the CIA when I got out but injuries got in the way out continuing my career. I myself am a navy vet and work in naval intelligence. He rents Eva’s cabins to run a mission and things go south. Luke is a SEAL apart of a black ops group. When the shows on break and she desires to escape to her cabin she finds herself facing her fiction in real life. Eva is a showrunner for a Navy SEAL based TV show.
